Douglas O. Linder's Description of Human-Animal Interaction Throughout History

Douglas O. Linder is a college professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City; Professor Linder teaches Constitutional Law, Seminar in Famous Trials, The Quest for a Satisfying Career in Law, and First Amendment Law, and many more. He is a recipient of the Elmer P. Pierson Teaching Award, the Daniel L.Brenner Faculty Publishing Award, and was selected as a UKC Trustees Fellow. Professor Linder has published numerous articles in the fields of constitutional law, famous trials, environmental law, and communications law.


In his 2020 article titled "Animals and Humans: A Brief History of Our Complicated Relationship," Douglas O. Linder beautifully summarizes how humans have interacted with different animals over time and how this relationship has affected civilization.
